History of Torayvino

Torayvino is a market leader water purifier of Japan now in Bangladesh. TORAYVINOTM Household Water Purifiers were developed based on Toray’s filtering technology used for medical devices. They feature sophisticated filtration media such as hollow fiber membrane filters as well as superior resins and other technologi- cally advanced carbon media. First launched in 1986, TORAYVINOTM filters have now become the most famous water purifiers in Japan. Torayvino Brand’s water purifier sold over more than 130 million in over 40 countries.


1986 : First launched a counter top type water purifier using hollow fiber membrane filters.

1988 : The world’s first* faucet mount type water purifier using hollow fiber membrane filters *Based on Toray’s research.

1990 : SX Series faucet mount type water purifier using hollow fiber membrane filters.

1994 : MK Series faucet mount type water purifier using hollow fiber membrane filters.

2005 : Faucet mount type water purifier using hollow fiber membrane filters, with advanced performance which enable to remove 13 materials specified in the Japanese Industrial Standard for testing household water purifiers.

2006 : 20 Years Anniversary Total TORAYVINOTM sales reach 50 million units!.

2009 : The model with 30% water saving function is launched.

2011 : The pitcher type can be stored in any occasion, both vertically and horizontally.

2012 : The faucet mount type MK-303 Series with washable body cover and cap, both of which can easily be detached is launched.

2016 : The faucet mount filter cartridge with “time-saving / high removal performance” is launched. 2020 : MK Series “Long life & high flow rate & high removal” cartridge launched.
